I've found a new pair of handles to put on my scissors. And what better pair to put them on than a pair of sewing bird scissors. This little sewing bird first flew into my designing in 2004. It was one of the main motifs for a class I taught at the 2004 Rockome show. It seemed to be just right perched on the scissors, so I just added a flowery handle to keep it happily chirping as I stitch.

Some of my online stitching friends may be familiar with my crossed needles chart as I offered it as a complimentary design at one of their stitchins. Now I have combined the crossed needles with the scissors. When I stitch this design, I intend to use metallic thread for the needles.
